Our approach

Getting it right
takes time.

There are faster ways to build a skin app. We chose not to take them. Getting a clinical tool right means testing it with the people who will use it, refining it again and again, proving it is safe, and earning the trust of clinicians and patients. We took the time to do all of that.

  1. 01Test with people
  2. 02Refine together
  3. 03Prove it is safe
  4. 04Earn trust

Our team

Bringing the
expertise together.

Because no single discipline could build it alone, we set out to assemble a team with every skill the job required.

Clinical leadership

At the heart of the team are senior clinicians: a consultant dermatologist who has led departments and teaching in London’s leading hospitals, and a head and neck surgeon who has chaired national guidelines and led his specialty’s professional bodies. They know the skin pathway from the inside, and they have shaped every step of the product.

Technology that scales

Alongside them are technology leaders who have spent decades building businesses, delivering complex systems into the NHS and the wider public sector, and growing companies through to successful exits. They know how to turn a clinical need into a product that works reliably at scale.

Safety and compliance built in

In healthcare, safe has to be proven, not promised. Our medical device and compliance specialists have taken products through UK and international regulation, and made clinical safety, quality and data protection part of the build from the very first day.

Data and imaging science

Our researchers in computer vision, imaging and artificial intelligence have helped us build on large banks of historical clinical images with confirmed diagnoses. That grounding in real-world data is what allows us to create something clinicians can rely on.

Backing for
the long term.

The work is supported by experienced investors who understand that building something worthwhile in healthcare takes patience as well as ambition.

Built together.
Ready to make
a difference.

The result is RADAR Skin Health. We believe it is one of the most comprehensive tele-dermatology solutions available to UK clinicians today: intuitive for patients and clinicians alike, and bringing together answers to many of the issues holding back skin care in a single platform.

We are proud of what this team has built. Now we want to see it in the hands of every GP practice, dermatology clinic and pharmacy ready to give their patients faster, more informed decisions.

Explore the platform

A pathway
under real strain.

Skin care in the UK is under real strain. Patients wait anxiously for answers, GPs juggle complex skin cases in short appointments, and scarce consultant time goes on rebuilding incomplete referrals.

1 in 4

people see their GP about a skin problem every year

>1,000,000

referrals to specialist dermatology each year

423,217

people waiting for dermatology treatment in England

Tele-dermatology was not a new idea, and these were not undiscovered problems: clinicians had been describing them for years. What was missing was a solution that brought all the answers together in one place, worked the way clinicians work, and met the standards healthcare demands.

We knew no single discipline could build that alone.
